Community Design & Development - Bissell Professional Group Awarded 1,300 Acre Development Project:

Madison, LLC awards BPG Inc. a multi-year contract to develop a 1,300 acre tract into a commercial and residential community in Ladysmith VA. The project will include a retirement golf community. The 18-hole golf course community will be called Pendleton. The Honorable Owen Pickett, Member of Madison Village, LLC, plans to create the premier community in Caroline County Virginia.

The BPG team also includes the Raleigh, NC based McBride Hess Design Group

Environmental/Government - BPG awarded engineering services for Jockey’s Ridge State Park Sand Relocation Project.

Due to the wind, the historic sand dunes on the Outer Banks of NC shift and move over time. The project involves relocating 80,000 cubic yards of sand from one area of the park to another location. The project protects the environment and extends the life of a valuable natural resource and tourist attraction.
